I am a young film maker from Freiburg, Germany, currently residing in Bangkok, Thailand. And how did I get here? A long and twisted story actually, just like one of those stories that only life could write! Before I came here, I have been studying in Byron Bay, a very beautiful coastal town in Australia. Some might describe it as paradise and it really is very beautiful and quiet. Too quiet for my taste actually. It is the perfect place for a vacation, but to me, it just wasn't the right place for studying. My life there: classroom - beach - classroom - beach - and sometimes one of the few clubs in town - yawn. Please don't get me wrong, I had a great time there and Australia is a great country, but after a couple of month I started to miss the busy and exciting city-life and got bored of the laid-back lifestyle in this small surfer town. And that's when I learned about the possibility to finish my studies in Thailand. I have always loved this country and it's people, so I gladly took the opportunity and moved here.
I then did a couple of really exciting internships and after graduation, I was offered a job at one of the companies I interned for. I'm working as a CG-Artist / Compositor in one of Asia's top addresses for post-production.
So to wrap it up, I love living here with all my close friends and experiencing the lifestyle of one of the most exciting cultures on this planet.
